Elephant Run 5K

Our Story

My name is Fiona Curran and I am organizing the Elephant Run 5K for its second year in memory of my grandparents, Barbara and Neil Curran. I sadly lost both of them to cancer and this race is to raise money for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Dana-Farber provided excellent care to both my grandparents during their battles with cancer. With this fundraiser, I hope to advance cancer research and make a difference. ​If you are unable to participate in the event donations are very appreciated. In our first year of the event (2025) we raised over $16,000 for Dana Farber and the Jimmy Fund. We hope to raise the fundraising total and event participation even more this year so please consider donating!
