Kick4Life, an award-winning charity in Lesotho (Africa), and Wrexham AFC in Wales – the club owned by Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac - have formed a unique twinning partnership between two community-driven soccer clubs. Together they will launching the Kick4Life x Wrexham AFC Scholarship, giving disadvantaged young people from Lesotho the opportunity to study at Wrexham University while also supporting the important community work of the Wrexham AFC Foundation.
This year, the Kick4Life x Wrexham Marathon Team is raising vital funds to make these scholarships possible – creating life-changing opportunities for young people in Lesotho, genuinely and permanently removing them from the cycle of poverty.
The TCS New York City Marathon is one of the most popular sporting events in the calendar and we're delighted to have a limited number of places available for the race on Sunday November 2, 2025.
The Kick4Life team will be with you every step of the way, from the moment you sign up to the incredible moment you cross the finishing line. Running on the team promises to be one of the most inspiring and empowering experiences of your life!

- You must be at least 18 years-old

About Kick4Life F.C.
Kick4Life is the world’s first soccer club exclusively dedicated to social change. As a charity and a social enterprise our mission is to change the lives and long-term prospects of vulnerable young people in Lesotho, Southern Africa. This is primarily achieved through the K4L Academy where participants are supported to obtain student-athlete scholarships at international Schools & Colleges, transforming their lives in the process.
Kick4Life also has a 'twinning' partnership with Wrexham AFC in Wales – the club owned by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney and featured in the Emmy Award-winning documentary Welcome to Wrexham. Together we will be launching the Kick4Life x Wrexham AFC Scholarship, giving young people from Lesotho the opportunity to study at Wrexham University while also supporting the important community work of the Wrexham AFC Foundation.
