Our Mission
Fishin’ for a Cure is dedicated to bringing hope and support to those in need through community-driven fishing events and fundraising to make a difference for individuals battling breast cancer through fishing, fun, and fellowship. In 12 years, Fishin' for a Cure has raised over 1.4 million dollars directly benefiting breast cancer patients, caregivers, and their families. Help us continue the tradition and grow our impact by attending our annual October festival weekend!
Pink Tides and Island Vibes
We look forward to the fellowship, fun, and festivities, but Fishin' For A Cure is most excited about making a difference! We hope you join us for this incredible weekend. Saturday is a block party, cornhole for a cause, $10,000 draw down with music and food. Sunday is the pokerfish tournament followed by a dinner to celebrate our sponsors and volunteers. The weekend ends with a golf tournament at Star Hill Golf Club.

Saturday, October 18
Pink Tides and Island Vibes Festival
Check in for the weekend beginning at 10:00am at Thirsty Surfer. There will be vendors on site donating a portion of their proceeds to Fishin' for a Cure. Cornhole for a Cause begins at 11:00am.
Pink Tides and Island Vibes is our opening night of a weekend of fun, fellowship and fundraising. Join us at Thirsty Surfer beginning at 6pm for food, $10,000 reverse raffle drawing, a silent auction, and live music by the Squidbelly's.
Sunday, October 19
PokerFish Tournament
Afternoon on the beach with a pole in the ocean, including fishing tournament and fellowship. Open to all, with registration fees benefiting FFAC. Includes an event shirt. Fred Rouse from Beach Boogie & Blues Radio Network will broadcast live from Surfs Up. Make plans to spend the afternoon on the beach! Check in on the beach at 9:30am. Rules at 10:45am and lines in at 11:00. Awards and pictures around 1:15pm.
Monday, October 20
Go Pink on the Green
Join us as we Go Pink on the Green for breast cancer. Part of Fishin' for a Cure's annual event, we are ready to swing the clubs and dress to impress at this annual golf tournament! Check in begins at 8:00am and shot gun start at 9:00. Lunch and awards immediately after.
