Your participation in Birdathon—whether as a donor or fundraiser—directly advances Birds Connect Seattle's mission to advocate and organize for cities where people and birds thrive. Every dollar we raise together fuels our work in urban conservation, community science, environmental education, and outreach.
Birdathon’s success comes down to three simple steps:

Your donation can sponsor a free-to-the-public Neighborhood Bird Outing, hosted multiple times a month, so members of our community can enjoy birds at a local greenspace or park, right where they live.

Count Birds the "Big Day Way"
How many bird species do you reckon you could identify in one day? 20? Maybe even 100?
Well, this year, we are putting that question to the test for everyone. Between May 9th and 11th, all Birdathon participants will participate in a Big Day, which is 24 hours of counting fun anywhere in Washington.
