Why We Dance for Dana
In honor of so many of our family and friends who courageously fight or have lost their battle to cancer, we will do what we all do best – dance! We will celebrate life and give to others during the season of giving… together!
The "Dance for Dana" Dance-A-Thon will benefit Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and 100% of proceeds will be donated directly to Dana-Farber. The event is a fun and fit activity for dancers of all ages and levels.
All proceeds benefit cancer care and research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute
How It Works
Step 1:
Studio Directors: Click 'Register to Dance' and then 'Create a Team'
Dancers & Individuals: (Parents See Below) Click 'Register to Dance' and then 'Join a Team' to find your school or studio or join the "Independent Dancers" team. **Parents please use your child's First & Last name then set your password.**
Step 2:
Customize your page to tell us why you're participating and why it's important to you to help fundraise for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute or use the default story that's already provided for you.
Step 3:
Click the "Share" button on your personal page to "Share via Email or text" to connect to friends & family ask if they’ll support your efforts by donating to your efforts in the Dance-A-Thon. You can also share on social media.
After that: Post updates on your personal page to share your story with your supporters by clicking 'Updates' at the top of the page.
