Support our kids, coaches, and or staff during their golf marathon played at Cherokee Ranch Golf Club and help First Tee - Greater Tyler continue to grow and build game changers in our East Texas Community. We believe every kid deserves the chance to build inner strength before the world demands it, to find the joy that comes with feeling confident, and to access experiences and spaces where personal growth happens. We at First Tee - Greater Tyler integrate life skills curriculum with the game of golf to build game changers in our community.
We see golf as a metaphor for life. It’s not the score that counts, but what you learn along the way. Like in life, golf requires goal setting, working with others and digging deep when things get tough. Golf is a perfect practice ground for learning skills that go far beyond the fairways.
Only 14% of our revenue is generated by participant fees. We will not turn any child away. The kids in our community need our support, and we need yours to help them thrive.
How can you contribute?
To make a contribution on behalf of a specific player, go to their fundraiser page and select a donation amount or make a per-hole pledge to encourage them to go the distance!
To make an offline contribution, please mail a check payable to First Tee — Greater Tyler to the following address and include the name of the player or team you are supporting on the memo line of the check.

Why support First Tee - Greater Tyler?
Our youth development program is like no other. As we continue to expand our programming throughout East Texas, we need additional funds so we can equip kids who may not otherwise have access to the game of golf with the confidence, integrity, respect, and perseverance the game inherently promotes. First Tee programming allows kids to accomplish their dreams, thrive socially, excel academically and athletically, and become productive members of their families and society with integrity, strong values, and commitment to their community. Funds raised through the golf marathon support additional programming in East Texas, equipment, and training for the First Tee School Program at elementary and middle schools and the First Tee Community Program.
