The Messiah University Department of Music, in collaboration with Azaguno, Inc. is proud to welcome the drummers and dancers of the National Dance Company of Ghana to campus for a series of clinics, workshops, and performances culminating in our performance of Nukpɔkpɔ, a collaborative concert of traditional and contemporary West African music and Dance on April 2nd, 2022. Originally scheduled for March of 2020 but postponed due to the global pandemic, this venture aims to diversify the musical training our music majors receive by having them work hand-in-hand with cultural ambassadors representing all sixteen regions of Ghana.
