Young Leaders Making an Impact
Every child deserves a new pair of shoes. That's why this nominated group of Young Leaders are raising their voices and rallying their communities to raise funds to provide kids experiencing homelessness in the U.S. with new high-quality, well-fitting athletic shoes. New shoes give kids the opportunity to participate more fully in school and free up resources their caregivers can use for other necessities.

What is Young Leaders?
Young Leaders is a six-week challenge to advance the mission of Soles4Souls. Throughout the program, a cohort of nominated Young Leaders each plan and implement an individual fundraising campaign and complete a meaningful service project. In addition to learning valuable leadership and communication skills, Young Leaders have the opportunity to network with Soles4Souls leadership and gain a greater understanding of Soles4Souls' programs and impact.
Why give shoes to kids without homes?
While many organizations are focused on the critical needs of food and shelter, school officials tell us shoes are essential for students to succeed in school.
A good pair of shoes can change a child’s future.
Kids who receive new shoes have more confidence, attend school more regularly, and are more physically active.
