Hope on Wheels is a charity bicycle ride to raise funds for agencies providing cancer screening and support services.
The event will be held at Helicon Brewery, Oakdale, PA on Friday, August 19, (4:00 PM - 9:00 PM)
Riders will have the opportunity to challenge themselves with four different distances along the Panhandle Trail. This will be an out and back ride. Cyclists will be able to choose various rides ranging from 10 to 40 miles. There will be staggered starts on Friday August 19 at Helicon. Riders will calculate their starting time with their riding distance and average mph. The start line will be opened at 4:00 PM. We would like to have all riders complete the course by 7:30 PM. Festivities will begin at that time. Refer to the table below for estimated start times.

Join the Ride
All riders will be required to submit a $35 registration fee. Riders raising an ADDITIONAL $100 will receive a Hope on Wheels T-shirt and will be eligible for various prizes. This is also a cancer dedication ride. We encourage all riders to choose one or more people who are either battling cancer, are cancer survivors or have lost their battle to cancer. A short dedication ceremony will be held at the end of the ride where the names of those honored for the ride will be displayed. Also, top team and individual fund raisers will be recognized and presented with prizes.
Suggested start times:
40 mile ride – 4:00 – 4:30
30 mile ride - 4:30 – 5:00
20 mile ride – 5:00 – 5:30
10 mile ride – 6:00 – 6:15
