What is the Delaware Down Syndrome Walk?
The Delaware Down Syndrome Walk began in 2004 as an opportunity to promote awareness and acceptance for people with Down syndrome. It has grown into a large Family Fun Day featuring an Awareness Loop and 5K run. Funds raised from the Delaware Down Syndrome Walk allow us to support families, promote community involvement, and encourage a lifetime of opportunities for people with Down syndrome.
The Delaware Down Syndrome Walk is more than just a walk - it's an event where our community gets to experience why we are all more alike than different!
THANK YOU!
We had such a wonderful day enjoying the activities, performances, 5K, food trucks, and Awareness Loop at our annual event. Even though we'll have to wait until next year to relive the fun, this website remains active for new donations! Help us achieve our $100,000 fundraising goal, so we can continue to support families, promote community involvement, and encourage a lifetime of opportunities for individuals with Down syndrome. 💙💛
