2025 DSAWM Step Up for Down Syndrome

There are multiple ways to get involved in this year’s Step Up for Down Syndrome fundraiser and event. Take a look at the following options and choose what works best for you!

The success of our event is dependent upon the hard work of all the Step Up teams, led by Team Captains, who spread awareness and FUNdraise to support DSAWM!

• Team Captains | Team Captains build excitement leading up to the big day and encourage friends and family to register and join their team and contribute towards their fundraising goals in support of DSAWM! We encourage Teams to get creative on ways to build team spirit and earn incentives along the way. Learn more about becoming a Team Captain and creating a new/returning* team on our Team Captains page.

  *Returning Team Captains please note: Because we are using a new platform this year, you will need to start your team page from scratch. If you would like us to send you a list of your 2024 supporters, please email info@dsawm.org.

• Team Members | Team members participate by registering for their team, contributing towards their team’s fundraising goals, and attending the event to show support! Can’t attend this year’s event? No problem! Members can still register as a team member and donate to a team’s fundraising goal, just select "No” when asked if you will attend the event in the registration form.

Whether you’re leading a team, joining a team, or attending as an individual, your ticket purchase helps us continue to grow this all-inclusive event and provide greater support to individuals with Down syndrome across West Michigan.

• General Registration ($10) | Provides access to the event, carnival activities, prizes, entertainment, and much more!

• Reduced Fee Registration ($5) | We do not want ticket prices to restrict attendance or team support. This reduced fee option is available to guests as needed.

• Individual With Down Syndrome Registration (FREE) | All individuals with Down syndrome receive free registration to the event!

**Event t-shirts are available to purchase as an add-on to your registration. The deadline to order shirts is 8/3/25.

Event sponsorship opportunities are available at a number of levels. Whether you choose to sponsor the event or support a specific team, your sponsorship will impact hundreds of families across West Michigan. 

If you choose to sponsor the event, we are offering a limited number of opportunities to apply your sponsorship to several high-visibility activity stations. Sponsor signage will be featured at the stations and noted on the event website and social media shares.

If you cannot attend Step Up for Down Syndrome, show your support by making a donation to the general event or a specific team. Every dollar supports DSAWM's programs and services benefitting families right here in West Michigan.
