Operation 24: Stay Up for Those Who Stood Up
PGA HOPE Operation 24: Stay Up For Those Who Stood Up on June 16th at Sweetens Cove Golf Club is a unique 24-hour pro-veteran event. This tournament aims to raise funds to give back to our local Veterans who are PGA HOPE graduates and continue to expand this transformational program to serve more Veterans in the future. As a part of this event, PGA Professionals from across the state will team up to stay up for those who stood up and play one ball continuously for 24 hours throughout the day and night.
The primary objective of Operation 24 is twofold: first, to express gratitude and support for local veterans who have benefited from the PGA HOPE program; and second, to raise awareness about PGA HOPE, encouraging more veterans to participate in the program in the future. This event aims to foster community engagement and highlight the therapeutic benefits of golf for veterans, reinforcing the program’s mission of healing and empowerment through sport.
The mission of this event is to serve as a way to give back to our local veterans who are PGA HOPE graduates. In addition, it will bring awareness to the PGA HOPE program and serve as an avenue to get more veterans involved in the program in the future.
