Dr. Wood was our dear friend, colleague, mentor and leader. He will be greatly missed. Contributions to this endowment fund will continue to champion the kidney cancer community in his memory.

Our Mission
With heavy hearts, we share that Dr. Christopher G. Wood, chair of the KCA’s Board of Directors, died on November 3. Dr. Wood was a gifted urologic surgeon at MD Anderson Cancer Center who championed the kidney cancer community at every opportunity. We will miss him terribly and send our love to his wife Colleen, and children Sarah & Chris.
In his honor, the Kidney Cancer Association plans to establish an award to advance kidney cancer research and to keep the work and mission of Dr. Wood alive in memory.
