We need your help to buy a permanent property for the kids of Casita Copan. Help us put down our roots and invest in the future of the kids of Honduras.
When Casita Copan began in 2012, we dreamed of creating an organization rooted in the community. We wanted to help children stay with their families, to not let poverty be the reason that a child ended up in an orphanage. And for kids who didn’t have families, we wanted to give them one.
And now we have a chance to make one of our biggest dreams come true. To purchase a real, permanent place for Casita to call home. A place where we can put down our roots, invest and grow stronger so we can continue to be here when times get tough. Join us to make this dream come true.

Each Mile is One Step Closer to a Permanent Home
We need to raise $180,000 total to help us buy our home. Our goal for this fundraiser is $10,000.
Our Mission: To prevent child abandonment by nurturing orphaned and vulnerable children and supporting single mothers.

How it Works:
1. Join a team, create an individual page, or create your own team.
2. Set a goal for how many miles you want to walk/run from July 18-July 31, 2021.
3. Promote your page via email and on social media and encourage others to join, donate, or pledge.
4. Track your running/walking miles from July 18-July 31, 2021 and enter them in with updates for your donors.
5. You can also just donate or pledge to your favorite Champion for Casita Copan.
Prizes: The top three individual Champions for Casita Copan who make the most money and the top three who accumulate the most miles will receive a commemorative Casita Copan t-shirt for The Journey Home: Casita Copan Walk/Jogathon.

It has been the dream of Casita Copan from the very beginning to someday own their very own property instead of rent space guaranteeing a safe and permanent place for vulnerable children and single mothers to call home. Since 2012, Casita Copan has helped provide shelter, food, education and medical care to single mothers and children at risk of abandonment due to extreme poverty focusing on keeping families together.
Casita Copan continues to do this important work but needs your help to purchase a true home that children and at risk families can go to for years to come.
