At our two-year anniversary show on June 11th, we’re calling on the power of the Ripple Effect like never before—because one of our own needs us.

Adam Glassman, one of our OG Ripple regulars—always “on the rail,” always cheering for the music and the community—has been navigating a tough road over the last few years, and especially the last few weeks. 

A surprise carotid artery blockage led to emergency surgery, and now…  a recent diagnosis of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL).

Yes, it’s cancer. But here’s the part we want you to hear loud and clear: Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) is a slow-growing form of blood cancer. Many people live with it for years while continuing to lead full and active lives. There may be new doctors, medical terms, and treatment decisions ahead—but the good news is, there’s time to understand it all, and excellent options to manage it.

It can feel overwhelming at first, but the truth is: there’s time, there’s hope, and there is help.

That’s why we’re turning this Ripple into a fundraiser for The CLL Society, an incredible nonprofit that supports newly diagnosed patients like Adam with expert education, emotional support, and a strong community of patients and care partners. They help people breathe easier and walk forward with strength. And now, we want to help them—in Adam’s name.
