The Down Syndrome Guild invites you to join us for the annual DSG Family Picnic. Families will enjoy a fun-filled day at The Southern Cross Ranch, complete with a delicious lunch buffet and plenty of opportunities to connect with other DSG families.

Face Painting & Balloon Artists
Sports Fields & Games (equipment provided, except for softball gloves)
Fishing Pond (bring your own gear and bait) & Pedal Boats
Playground & Bounce House
Music & More
While these activities will be available throughout the day, some will have designated time slots and may not be open all day. A full event schedule will be sent out prior to the picnic so you can plan accordingly.
Lunch Buffett
A BBQ buffet lunch is included with registration. Hot dogs and chips are also available for kids. Most menu items (except buns, rolls, and desserts) do not contain gluten ingredients, but are not prepared in a dedicated gluten-free kitchen. Certified gluten-free cookies will be available for those with dietary restrictions.

Registration Details
Free for individuals with Down syndrome and their immediate family members
$35 per additional guest (ages 4 and older)
Free for children ages 3 and under (registration still required)
Important Reminders
This event is valued at $35 per person. Donations are appreciated to help offset program and event costs.
Please only register if you plan to attend. If your plans change, let us know ASAP to help avoid unnecessary costs.
Space is limited, and advance registration is required.
Registration closes on Monday, May 11. No walk-up registrations will be accepted.

Refund Policy
Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the event are eligible for a full refund if we have a waitlist. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event are non-refundable, as we’ve already made food and reservation commitments based on your RSVP. If you’re unable to attend, feel free to reach out—we’ll do our best to accommodate or transfer your spot, if possible. Please keep in mind that the Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas covers 85–95% of the cost for each individual to attend and pays for your spot in advance to keep this program affordable for families. Last-minute cancellations not only result in a loss of funds, but they also prevent others on the waitlist from having the opportunity to participate. Thank you for your understanding and support!
