What is the Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk?
RMDSA is excited to host the 8th Annual Western Slope Step Up Walk in Grand Junction, CO!
In addition to being an acceptance & awareness event, the Step Up for Down Syndrome (SUDS) walk is a CELEBRATION of our friends with Down syndrome in the Western Slope.
The Step Up Walk is also a fundraiser for the Rocky Mountain Down Syndrome Association to raise money to support programs, resources, and community events in the Western Slope.
We ask all team captains to reach out to friends, families, coworkers, neighbors, etc. and encourage them to register and/or make a donation to your SUDS team! All money earned at the walk will support individuals with Down syndrome and their families in the Western Slope communities.
If you are a Team Captain, establish your Team Page. You will then be provided with a unique link to send to your circles of influence, so that they can donate directly to YOUR TEAM'S page! A variety of team prizes will be awarded for both the Top 3 fundraisers and the largest teams.
Donations will stay local to benefit the family and education programs, resources, community groups, community events, and advocacy initiatives that RMDSA has offered for more than 40 years.
Online Registration is CLOSED! You can register onsite at the event.
