What is a Golf Marathon?
A golf marathon is an exciting and flexible fundraising event where golfers have the freedom to play as many holes as they want, from dawn until dusk. This unique format allows participants to tee off at any time between 8 AM and dusk. To add a fun twist, golfers can even use two+ balls per hole, counting each hole as two played! It's a fantastic way to enjoy the game you love while making a significant impact on the community.
How It Works
Register to Play: Sign up with a $125 participation fee, which includes the use of a golf cart (while supplies last).
Set Your Goal: Decide how many holes you plan to play. The more, the merrier!
Gather Support: Share your goal with friends and family, encouraging them to pledge a donation for each hole you complete. For example, if a friend pledges $1 per hole and you play 50 holes, their donation will be $50.
Play the Game: On the day of the marathon, tee off at your convenience and play as many holes as you can. Use two balls per hole if you want to double your count.
Fundraise: The total number of holes you play determines how much your supporters will donate.
