Why Ride FAR? Fall foliage. A global community coming together. A chance to change lives.
That’s the spirit of the original Wall Street Rides FAR, and that spirit remains now that it has grown into an international event, featuring satellite rides in Toronto and Baltimore as well as numerous virtual rides for individuals and teams around the world. These rides collectively benefit the Autism Science Foundation, an inspiring, research-driven organization that funds innovative autism research and helps people with autism live fulfilling lives with dignity.
About Us
On Saturday, September 30, a mix of avid cyclists and weekend recreational riders will gather at Sherbourne Common in old Toronto on a fully supported journey through lakeshore bike paths and historic city streets. From our 5 km family walk to a 50 km ride, people of all interest and ability levels have the opportunity to take part. With rest stops for the riders that are so magical we call them “Oases,” ample route marking, safety monitors at tricky intersections, bike techs and sweep vans if you need them, our volunteers will take care of almost any need. Bay Street Rides FAR is a leaf-peeping cyclist’s utopia. Meanwhile, around the world, riders will come together to join the event from wherever they are, with their team or solo.
