This year on May 26th is the first-ever global giving day in soccer: World Football Giving Day. It's a day where soccer can "show its heart" by showing up together across communities, countries, colors, and crests, and give back.
Techne Futbol is teaming up with Common Goal - the largest collective using soccer as a tool for social good worldwide - to build a bridge between this incredible Techne athlete community and the worldwide impact of soccer for good.

It's free to join - you can sign up right in the app with or without a subscription. Every drill is an opportunity to turn your training into impact and support for underserved communities around the world.
Here’s what this first-of-its kind Techne challenge looks like:
Before May 26: Set up your free fundraising page here on PledgeIt by clicking "JOIN". Then share it with your family, friends, and teammates and ask them to pledge a small amount per drill you complete during the Techne World Football Giving Day challenge — think $1 or $5 per drill. Their pledge only converts to a donation after you’ve completed the challenge, so there’s no commitment until you’ve done the work.
May 26 – 29: Train. Complete as many Techne drills as you can in three days. Complete all 40 drills in the challenge if you can! The more you do, the more every pledge is worth. Your supporters cheer you on; you turn your training into impact.

Every dollar supports Common Goal’s mission to grow and strengthen soccer for good worldwide. Today, our community serves 3.6 million youth annually, with an average cost of $102 per participant per year. Together, we can grow, strengthen, and support this community so that every young person, everywhere, has the opportunity to play, learn, and thrive on and off the field.
