This system disproportionately favors affluent families, leaving others without the same opportunities to develop, compete, and thrive.

At Poway Youth Soccer League (PYSL), we believe every child deserves a chance to play, regardless of their financial situation. As a nonprofit youth organization, we are committed to breaking down these barriers by providing a financial assistance program for need-based families. With your support, we can ensure no player is left off the roster due to cost. Together, we can make soccer more inclusive, accessible, and life-changing for all!

As we launch The Vaqueros Way 2025 Juggle-A-Thon Campaign, we want to take a moment to recognize the profound impact your generosity has on our PYSL community. Many of our families are facing immense challenges, from the rising cost of living, the devastating loss of homes in a recent fire, the burden of major medical expenses for critical surgeries, and the sudden loss of employment. Your support is more than just a donation...it’s a lifeline that helps keep kids on the field, providing them with stability, joy, and a sense of belonging during difficult times.

WHY JUGGLING?

Our kids are raising money in a way that promotes a healthy lifestyle while developing foundation skills in the sport they love. Juggling is a critical skill for one's soccer development; it is a FUNdamental stage of ball mastery and athletic growth. In short, juggling builds affinity and comfort with the ball while improving mental focus, motor coordination, balance, and leg strength. Although important to our financial assistance program and budgets, we also use this campaign to foster a competitive cauldron that increases our player's motivation to become better at the sport they play.

The more successful we are in this endeavor, the more opportunities we can provide children to enjoy the world's most popular sport. Additionally, we would be remiss if we did not state that PYSL is not just about the sport of soccer. Our organization makes it a priority to teach invaluable life lessons that will foster personal growth. We know these traits will be instilled throughout our children's lives while creating indelible memories and friendships!
