Philadelphia Classical School (PCS, K-12) is pleased to welcome Alasdair Groves! He is the former director of CCEF and a respected leader in biblical counseling. Drawing on Scripture and years of pastoral experience, he will help us better understand the human heart and navigate the emotional complexities of family life.
Our Mission: PCS exists to provide a timeless academic experience rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ and the historic beliefs of the church, centered in the classical tradition, fostering intellectual, moral, and spiritual virtues so that students are prepared to lead and serve in any vocation or calling.

More about Alasdair
Alasdair Groves served at the Christian Counseling & Educational Foundation (CCEF) for over fifteen years, including five years as Executive Director. He holds a Master of Divinity with a counseling focus from Westminster Theological Seminary. Alasdair co-founded CCEF New England and served as its director for ten years. He also led CCEF's School of Biblical Counseling for three years. He is the coauthor of Untangling Emotions, a widely read book helping Christians understand the heart in light of Scripture.
