Burpees for Pancreatic Cancer

Raise awareness for Pancreatic Cancer on World Pancreatic Cancer Day. Individuals from around the world will be joining Project Purple in the fight for a world without Pancreatic Cancer.

With every burpee we complete, we will be raising crucial funds to support patients in need and to fund research for early detection and a cure (The Precede Consortium- www.predcedeconsortium.org). Pancreatic Cancer has just a 10% survival rate, no early detection, no cure, and is one of the least funded cancers.

Why burpees? Anyone affected by Pancreatic Cancer knows how devastating this diagnosis is with only 1 out of 10 surviving 5-years. But, like burpees every time we get knocked down we get back up and continue fighting and pushing forward. Alongside Project Purple, you will be fighting for the future of those faced with this disease. 10 minutes reflects the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, 10%.

If you are interested you can register below, set up a pledge campaign page, and ask your network to pledge any amount per burpee completed. Pledges can be as little as 10 cents per burpee. If you want to participate alone select “fundraise on my own” to set up an individual page or if you want to get your gym or group of friends involved and complete together select “Create a Team.” Have your friends already set up a page? We will be going live on November 19th at 6 pm EST through zoom, for those that can join. We will start with some words from Vin Kampf, of Project Purple, and start the 10 minutes of burpees together shortly after. The more you raise the more swag you can receive, of your choice. See below.
