Hawthorn Woods Country Club HERO100 Golf Marathon

The HERO100 Golf Marathon is the ultimate test of endurance for anyone who loves the game, and a powerful way to honor the families of our nation's heroes.

On Wednesday, September 2, 2026, beginning at 6:00 a.m., the team at Hawthorn Woods Country Club will take on the HERO100 Golf Marathon in support of Folds of Honor.

Head Golf Professional Greg Roberts will attempt to play 108 holes in a single day, while Assistant Golf Professionals Alex Pritchard, Brad Spoeth, Nick Dentone, General Manager Patrick O'Donoghue, and Assistant Food & Beverage Manager Richard Fox will each play 72 holes to raise funds and awareness for the families of fallen and disabled military service members and first responders.

Folds of Honor provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of America's fallen or disabled military service members and first responders. Their mission says it best:

Since 2007, Folds of Honor has awarded nearly 73,000 educational scholarships nationwide, but thousands of qualified applicants remain in need each year.
