About the Event
The Heroes have returned! We are excited to bring back the Sioux Falls Heroes Pull, a fun event for the whole family!
Teams of up to 10 people will compete to see who can pull a Minnehaha County SWAT Bearcat and a Sioux Falls Fire Truck the fastest. If you don't have enough people for a full team, don't worry; we will have some officers and athletes that can help you pull!
You must raise a minimum of $50 per person, or you can fundraise to get some awesome incentives! All proceeds from this ultimate tug-of-war event will benefit the amazing athletes of Special Olympics South Dakota.
Registration will begin at noon at the Unify Center, with the pull to follow at 1:30 PM.
We will have some awesome first responder vehicles to tour, bounce houses, and other activities for the kids!
Oh, and Hy-Vee Grill and Buddies & Co. will be there when you need something to eat or drink!

Why Special Olympics South Dakota?
Special Olympics South Dakota provides year-round sports training and competition opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities. But Special Olympics is about much more than sports. The organization also offers free health screenings, promotes inclusion and anti-bullying initiatives in schools across the state, and creates leadership opportunities for athletes, which in turn helps build a more unified world for everyone.
Through sports, individuals with intellectual disabilities gain confidence, improve their physical and mental well-being, develop lasting friendships, and showcase their abilities. Special Olympics also strengthens families and brings communities together through understanding, respect, acceptance, and inclusion.
