“NOT MEDICALLY NECESSARY” – VIP VIRTUAL PREMIERE

Virtual Screening and Panel Discussion
October 26th, 2026 / 5:30 - 7 pm PT / 8:30 - 10 pm ET

Join So Every BODY Can Move for the VIP premiere of “Not Medically Necessary,” a short documentary about what happens when a community refuses to let corporations decide that physical activity is a luxury.

Millions of Americans can't afford the prosthetics and orthotics they need to move, not because the technology doesn't exist, but because corporations have decided their physical activity isn't worth paying for. “Not Medically Necessary” chronicles the extraordinary grassroots activists who are fighting back by passing legislation state by state, asserting that movement is medicine and physical activity is a human right. On their mission to pass laws in 28, then 50 states, and ultimately a federal bill, they’re shifting the very systems and narratives that held them back in the first place.

Join us Monday, October 26th for:

* VIP premiere screening of “Not Medically Necessary”

* Live panel discussion with adaptive athletes and activists Branna Huckaby, Annika Berlin, and Rudy Garcia-Tolson who have lived the power of this movement firsthand.

* The launch of our Community Screenings initiative, where you can bring the film to your community and put it to work in your activism
