The Santa Run 5K and 1 Mile Walk is back!! This community event benefits Bishop McDevitt High School, and we will again be collecting and donating Christmas wish list items to the Child Life department at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital. You can sign up to participate as either a 5K runner/walker, or a 1 Mile walker. There are also sponsorship options available. General donations will be accepted as well! We encourage our entire community to participate in this event for our school, and whether you are participating in the race or not, please bring one or a few items on the Penn State Children's Hospital wish list on race day so that we can fill "Santa's Sleigh" with donations!

The Santa Run will be held on Saturday, December 13th, 2025 at Bishop McDevitt High School inside of Rocco Ortenzio Stadium. Donations to the Child Life wish list are not required for participation, but are greatly encouraged! Coffee, hot chocolate, and donuts will be provided on race day, and each registered participant will receive a Santa shirt and hat to run in. Prize drawings will also be awarded to a few lucky participants after the race. Register by Friday, December 5th!!
