2025 Buddy Walk Advocate, Grace Key!
Grace Key is a 27 year old trailblazing entrepreneur who co-founded her fashion line, candidly kind in 2018 with her mom, Carrie, as a way to spread light, love and acceptance after being bullied in high school. What started as a few shirts sold to family and friends has led to over 100,000 shirts sold across all 50 states and 23 countries. Grace’s inspiring designs feature her original artwork. She’s been featured on national tv and international digital media platforms highlighting her business and life.
Grace is well known for her makeup skills which opened the door to ongoing international digital advertisement contracts with Urban Decay Cosmetics, L’Oreal Group, Starbucks, TikTok and more. She’s been featured in several national TV ads for FabFitFun.
Grace is also a motivational speaker, advocate and philanthropist, spending much of her time advocating for people with Down syndrome. She donates part of every candidly kind sale to help people with IDD. Grace is a Best Buddies Grand Champion, Buddy of the Year for the Down Syndrome Association of Atlanta, spokesperson for Gigi’s Playhouse Atlanta and partnered with the National Down Syndrome Society’s employment program helping people with Down syndrome find jobs and start businesses. Grace serves on the board of directors for Celebrate EDU, a national nonprofit that educates people with disabilities on how to start and run businesses.
Grace and her mom, Carrie are honored to be recipients of two prestigious humanitarian awards, The SKATE award from Gigi’s Playhouse and the Jerome Lejeune Award from Hearts of Joy International. Both awards recognize those who are committed to spreading awareness and acceptance of people with Down syndrome.

About Us
The New Hampshire Down Syndrome Association was formed in 1988 as a voluntary, non-profit organization of families, professionals, and others who are interested in developing and sharing knowledge and the experience of Down syndrome. The mission of the New Hampshire Down Syndrome Association is to help all people with Down syndrome live to their fullest potential and enhance their quality of life while bringing about awareness of Down syndrome to our friends and neighbors.
NHDSA supports parents and families and acts as a constant resource for information.
NHDSA strives to promote inclusivity in all settings, and all of our activities shall be devoted to the achievement of positive attitudes regarding Down syndrome in the state of New Hampshire.
