I am supporting this campaign because I believe deeply in the importance of heart health awareness and early action. While my personal experience is not a direct match to sudden cardiac arrest, my father lived with heart disease for many years before ultimately passing away from a stroke. Walking alongside him through that journey opened my eyes to how serious and often silent heart disease can be, and how critical education and prevention truly are.

What speaks to me most about the Peyton Walker Foundation’s mission is the focus on awareness, early detection, and empowering communities to save lives through CPR training and access to AEDs. Hearing Peyton’s story shared at a Rotary Club meeting touched me deeply. It was a powerful reminder of how quickly life can change and how one moment can inspire a mission that saves countless others.

As a breast cancer survivor, my perspective on health has also changed significantly. I now see preventative care, early detection, and advocacy not as optional, but as essential. Supporting this foundation feels like a meaningful way to turn personal experiences into action and help protect others.

I am grateful to partner with Belco Community Credit Union in raising funds and awareness for this incredible cause, and I am honored to support the Peyton Walker Foundation in any way I can.
