Our Mission
The mission of Kids Helping Kids is to empower youth to develop leadership skills through impactful, youth-led projects that create lasting change for children in the community.
Why? Because our greater vision is to cultivate a generation of leaders who foster kindness, expand opportunities, and champion social responsibility, creating waves of change that inspire others to do the same. KHK gives students a voice, the tools, the belief in themselves, and a path to take their power and positively impact others!
New Year, New Home✨
Over the last 15 years of KHK, the organization has grown tremendously. In the last year alone, we had 415 youth volunteers across 25 schools, who led 145 community service projects that directly impacted 2,408 children across Fairfield County.
Now, it's time that our space reflects that growth. We're hoping to start 2026 strong in a fresh new space that allows both staff and our numerous youth volunteers to have a comfortable, modern, collaborative space for all to come together.
We're asking our community members to please consider donating to KHK this holiday season to help us achieve this goal and cover the costs of rent in a new space for 2026. This step will greatly improve the KHK volunteer experience and in turn, create waves of change in our communities for years to come.
