2025 Year-End BIG GIVE!
The Year-End BIG GIVE campaign in partnership with Kendra Scott runs Nov 28 – Dec 31, 2025. Shine Bright. Do good.
How it Works
Stop Alzheimer’s Now is teaming up with our incredible roster of professional pickleball ambassadors to power this Year-End BIG GIVE. Each player is rallying their communities to drive donations that directly support cure-focused Alzheimer’s disease research in 2026—and to make giving even sweeter.
Every individual donation of $100 or more will receive an exclusive Kendra Scott Pickleball Pendant as our heartfelt thank-you. The shimmering paddle pendant is centered on a delicate chain, with a dainty pickleball motif set adjacent to it.
When making your donation, please include the name of the pickleball ambassador/influencer who brought you to the campaign (if applicable) so we can update them on the difference they're making! You will also see the option to choose the pendant finish you prefer (available in gold or silver plating). An address will be required for shipping of the necklace.
Why Pickleball?
The fastest-growing sport in America, pickleball has tremendous physical, mental, and emotional health benefits that can help reduce risk factors for Alzheimer’s. The sport helps maintain cognitive function through mental focus and acuity, as well as creates a sense of community and belonging, eliminating a sense of social isolation that often accompanies the onset of Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia.
The pickleball community is embracing our mission as a natural partnership, and we’re grateful to have the support of several professionals and players to help raise awareness about Alzheimer's and our organization throughout the pickleball community.
About Stop Alzheimer's Now
Stop Alzheimer’s Now was founded in 2013 by Shaun and Kristin McDuffee to help find a cure for this devastating disease. Both of Shaun’s parents passed away from Alzheimer’s in 2017, and Shaun wanted to make a difference by donating money to organizations fighting to find a cure for Alzheimer’s. While recognizing the many great things the larger, national organizations do to support Alzheimer’s patients and caretakers, Shaun often found a significant percentage of money was allocated to operations or other internal costs. Because of this, he and his wife decided to start the Stop Alzheimer’s Now Foundation (SAN) with the goal of nearly 100% of funds raised being directed to research institutions and key scientists fighting to find a cure.
With more than 6 million Americans currently living with Alzheimer’s and someone developing the disease every 65 seconds, your generosity fuels urgently needed breakthroughs. Together, we can move research forward toward a world without Alzheimer’s.
To date, SAN has raised over $1,000,000 for Alzheimer's research! The organization is run by people dedicated to this cause who generously donate their time, so nearly 97% of donations go to research and awareness initiatives. We have funded research projects at the University of Kansas, the University of Florida, Oregon Health Sciences University, and Temple University.
