105.9 The Brew's Rock the Walk for Autism Acceptance
On April 24th, 2026, Casey “Beefwater” Bay from the Tanner, Laura, and Casey morning show on 105.9 The Brew will dust off his track suit and lace up his sneakers for the 2nd Annual Walk for Autism Acceptance.
This year we up the ante and take on an incredible 17‑mile challenge starting from The Brew’s studio in Tigard and ending at Portland’s Cathedral Park in support of the Autism Society of Oregon.
As a parent with a child on the spectrum, this long‑distance walk is both a personal commitment for Casey and a public effort to raise awareness, acceptance, and support for individuals and families affected by autism across the Pacific Northwest.
Building on the success of the first walk, which generated nearly $8,000 in donations in just ten days, Casey is once again hitting the pavement to break last year’s total and amplify the message of inclusion as we help fund programs, resources, and advocacy initiatives that empower the autism community.
The 17‑mile trek is more than a physical effort; it’s a show of solidarity, compassion, and dedication to creating a more inclusive community for families affected by autism.
