2024 Inaugural Make-A-Wish Car Show

Hello, our names are Anthony, Matteo, and Aayush. We were born and raised in Monroe, New Jersey, and still reside here with our families. Anthony and Matteo are brothers, with Anthony being the youngest. Aayush is our neighbor, and a dear friend. Anthony is a rising senior at Monroe Township High School who plays on the varsity football team. Matteo is a college student studying mechanical engineering with an avid love of cars/bikes. Aayush is a recent college graduate who is lending his expertise in business and finance to help budget this event and secure sponsors. Matteo and Anthony's father worked at the Samuel and Josephine Plumeri Wishing Place (Make-A-Wish Castle) here in Monroe, and since that time our family and friends have tried to help whenever possible. We successfully created the Make-A-Wish Baseball Tournament 8 years ago at the local James Monroe Park here in Monroe. It is still running strong and the proceeds from the tournament over the last 8 years have granted 15 wishes. The three of us grew up together riding bicycles around our neighborhood. That hobby matured into helping our fathers maintain their classic cars, and finally we have gotten vehicles of our own. Now the three of us along with the help of some friends and family, are working with the Make-A-Wish team to plan a car show for this summer at the castle. It is open to all regardless of what type of vehicle you own. Cars, trucks, and motorcycles of any kind are all welcome! Our goal is to help raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation as they do incredible work with helping out children facing difficult times. These funds will be used directly to GRANT MORE WISHES! As people who have witnessed how incredible the wish process is, we could not advocate more for this organization. If you love cars/bikes and enjoy helping those in need, please consider signing up for this show. If you do not have a vehicle but you would like to attend, guests are more than welcome as well! Helping kids is the priority, but starting a yearly car show and getting to know more members of the car community is a great reason as well!
