Our Mission at the Northern Ohio PGA Section Foundation
The Northern Ohio PGA Section Foundation is dedicated to growing the game of golf and making a lasting impact in our communities. By using golf as a platform, the Foundation creates access, opportunity, and education for Veterans, juniors, and families across Northern Ohio.
Our key initiatives include:
PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere): Providing free golf instruction and community for 320+ Veterans each year.
Clubs Fore Kids: Supplying equipment to high school programs and individual juniors with financial need so they can learn and compete.
Scholarships: Awarding over $30,000 annually to graduating high school seniors pursuing higher education.
Junior Tour Financial Aid: Providing $10,000 annually to help families cover the cost of NOPGA Junior Tour events.
Community Grants: Funding grassroots programs and organizations with $30,000 in grants annually to grow the game and expand access.
Through these initiatives, the Foundation is committed to changing lives and inspiring growth through the game of golf.
What to Expect:
Hands-on instruction from PGA Professionals covering full swing, short game, putting, and course management
Proven practice ideas and drills designed to maximize limited practice time
Interactive learning environment where coaches actively participate in each station
Opportunities to ask questions, share ideas, and collaborate with other coaches
Take-home knowledge to help build more efficient, engaging, and effective team practices

8:30 – 9:00 a.m. – Arrival & Check-In (Coffee and donuts available) 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Interactive Station Rotations Four stations (35 minutes each) led by PGA Professionals 12:00 – 12:15 p.m. – Rapsodo Presentation 12:15 – 1:00 p.m. – Rules of Golf Presentation & Q&A
