Winston Lake Cup Honorees
The Winston Lake Cup is recognizing another incredible group of people tied to our local golf community. The 2026 Honorees are Forsyth Country Club, Sam Puryear Sr., Sam Puryear Jr., & Blake Brantley.
These leaders have made incredible contributions on and off the course and we ask you to consider making a donation in honor of their accomplishments.
First Tee - Triad’s mission is to create life-changing opportunities for kids through golf and Winston Lake GC is the chapter's Forsyth County home base. All donations will go to support First Tee programs at Winston Lake. First Tee - Triad is a 501(c)(3) charity and all donations are tax deductible.

2026 Honorees
Forsyth Country Club
For 10 years, the Forsyth Country Club Membership generously supported First Tee - Triad through sponsorship and participation in the Forsyth Country Club Celebrity Pro-Am. From 2010 - 2019, over $980,000 was raised to support First Tee programs. Contributions from the entire Forsyth Country Club membership led to dramatic growth in First Tee programs and participants at Winston Lake and the eventual opening of the John Faidley Learning Center in 2017. “We are incredibly thankful to each and every member at Forsyth Country Club who helped lead or participated in this incredible event.
