Our Mission
Growing Impact: Carson, Anna, JJ, Matt & More
From that humble beginning, the 5K-Aden has evolved each year, expanding its reach and deepening its impact. Over the past four events, the fundraiser has collectively raised over half a million dollars—a remarkable testament to community generosity and the event’s growing profile.
As the event matured, the beneficiaries expanded. Notably:
Carson: In 2023, Carson was severely injured in a motorcycle accident that resulted in the amputation of his right leg. Through JTF support, he was fitted with “active legs” and was embraced into the JTF community. Kaden and Carson quickly formed a strong bond. By May 2023, Carson and his family joined forces with Kaden to help lead and raise funds during the 5K-Aden Run/Walk.
JJ, Matt (and others): Over time, additional children and teens in the JTF network—like JJ, and Matt—have also benefitted from the proceeds raised by the 5K. Their stories reflect lives changed by access to prostheses, therapy, support services, and mentorship made possible by community donations.
Thanks to this widening circle of impact, the 5K-Aden has become not just Kaden’s fundraiser, but a platform for honoring multiple heroes in the JTF family—each with their own journey, resilience, and dreams.

Race Day Details Date: Saturday, December 13, 2025 Location: Waymore, East Nashville 811 Main St 5th Floor, Nashville, TN 37206 Race Start Time: 8:30 AM Packet Pick-Up: Begins at 7:00 AM at the race site Join us bright and early to grab your race packet, stretch, and get ready for a great morning supporting the Jordan Thomas Foundation! After you cross the finish line, stick around and celebrate with us — brunch tickets are available for purchase for the post-race brunch at The Waymore. It’s the perfect way to refuel, connect, and celebrate your impact!
