2022 Dash for Down Syndrome
Founded in 2002, the Down Syndrome Association of Brazos Valley is a group of individuals and couples with Down syndrome, self-advocates, families, friends and professionals. Our community-based support allows us to host and sponsor regular social activities, educational programs, conferences, advocacy training, workshops and community events. Funds raised from this event make these activities possible.

How to Sign Up
Step 1:
Team Captains: Click 'Register' and then 'Create a Team'
Team Members & Individuals: Click 'Register' and then 'Join a Team' to find your team or click "Fundraise on my Own"
Step 2:
Customize your page to tell us why you're participating and why it's important to you to help fundraise for the Buddy Walk or use the default story that's already provided for you.
Step 3:
Click the "Share" button on your personal page to "Share via Email or text" to connect to friends & family ask if they’ll support your efforts by donating to your efforts to support the Buddy Walk. You can also share on social media.
After that: Post updates on your personal page to share your story with your supporters by clicking 'Updates' at the top of the page.
Walk Path
Join us on our awareness walk that starts at 2pm. The leader of the walk will be our Top Fundraising Team followed by our Largest Team!

Founded in 2002, our original name was the Down Syndrome Support Group of the Brazos Valley. Our name has changed over the decade, but our purpose remains true. We are a community of individuals and couples with Down syndrome, self-advocates, families, friends and professionals.
