Here for Hope for Families Since 1977
2027 marks a very special year for Candlelighters For Children With Cancer.
50 years ago, Candlelighters was started by five families who had one thing in common: a child impacted by cancer. At the time, there were few organizations that helped families facing this traumatic, life-changing diagnosis. Through the years, over 100,000 individuals have been served by Candlelighters with programs that offer practical, emotional, and community- based support throughout Oregon and SW Washington.
Join us to honor the families, supporters and volunteers who are the heart and soul of Candlelighters. Ignite Hope: Celebrating 50 Years of Candlelighters will shine a light on our history, our achievements and look ahead toward the future. It will be an unforgettable, joy-filled evening, bringing together our resilient community of those touched by pediatric cancer. Seating will be limited. We hope to see you there!
