Maryland Chapter Touchdown Pledge Drive '21, Where Every Terp Score Means More!
The Maryland Chapter of Uplifting Athletes will be holding a Touchdown Pledge Drive on November 20th versus Michigan to shine a spotlight on the Rare Disease Community.
Terp fans can tackle rare diseases, by making a pledge for each touchdown scored against Michigan. Then watch and cheer as each Maryland touchdown helps raise money to support the Rare Disease Community.
The challenges faced by the Rare Disease Community are bigger than any one individual, team or organization can tackle alone. To create the change needed we all must rally together.
We have the opportunity to provide hope and NOW is the time to take action!
About the Maryland Chapter
The Maryland Chapter started tackling rare diseases in 2009 when it joined Uplifting Athletes. The student-athlete led Maryland Chapter serves the rare disease community in honor of former Terrapins quarterback Boomer Esiason.
Esiason’s son, Gunnar, lives with the rare disease cystic fibrosis and his battle served as the inspiration for Maryland football to join Uplifting Athletes.
