Never Give Up Hope
I'm excited to join this years RATW! Not One More Vet's mission is very important to me and I'm proud to help them make a difference.
There are several reasons this mission is important to me. First, the dog pictured is Hope, saved and named by a Veterinarian in a small rural town and her staff. Hope is congenitally blind and deaf. The staff kept her for an entire year searching for the right family for a special needs dog. We are blessed by her and the veterinary staff. Second, my brother is an equine vet, and Third, unfortunately my life has been touched by the tragedy of loss by suicide by a cherished friend who was a veterinarian.
Each of these are the reasons I am supporting this wonderful organization in this walk. Millions of pet owners visit vet offices every day. I believe it is important to support their life saving measures and hope you will join me on my pledge page and show your support of these special folks who save lives every day. I will never give up "Hope."

Beautiful day for a hike. New trail. We met our mileage goal, but funds are hard to come by. Should have set my goal a bit lower. Hope and I have had a nice month hiking.
