Suicide prevention and mental health awareness are very important to me. Through my personal experience, I've noticed a correlation between former elite athletes and attempted/completed suicide. I'd love to see more research into the correlation...but more importantly more RESOURCES for those folks NOW. Suicide Prevention Network is doing this important work.
