My Mission
I'm riding Cycle Oregon and fundraising for Candlelighters, an organization dedicated to supporting children battling cancer and their families. I am joining a team of riders on September 9th, and we will ride ~400 miles through the Willamette Valley and Central Oregon Coast until September 16th. The money I raise will help provide resources to children so that they are not alone in their daily battles against cancer.
The 2023 Cycle Oregon route starts in Albany, travels north to Carlton, and turns west to Cloverdale. From there, we'll ride south along the coast to Toledo before heading back inland to Alsea and returning to Albany. You can read ore about the ride at cycleoregon.com/ride/classic.

About Candlelighters
From diagnosis through treatment and beyond, Candlelighters provide programs that meet the needs of the whole family facing childhood cancer. Your support provides:
$25: Fills the gas tank so families can get their child to the hospital for essential cancer treatment.
$50: Fills a grocery bag of a family who may have had to leave a job to care for their child
$100: Helps a family of four get essential food for several days or gas for several trips to the hospital for required treatments.
$250: Fills the hospital pantry for one week, while families are in the hospital with their child who is receiving cancer treatment.
