Strong Alone. Unstoppable Together.
The Kidney Cancer Association (KCA)'s mission is to be a global community dedicated to serving and empowering patients and caregivers, and leading change through advocacy, research, and education.
I never imagined this moment in my life would change everything. Cancer was the last thing on my mind- until the day I heard the words " You have kidney cancer." Please support me by giving to my page. I appreciate your support!
Donations of $50 qualify you for a tshirt. Please follow these instructions:
On your team page, at any time, you can check and see who has joined your team and raised at least $50. This is how they qualify for a T-shirt. We need them to join your team and raise the $50 on their page. In doing so they will be able to specify their T-shirt size, confirm they plan to attend in person, and this also helps create the team-like atmosphere which is the goal of the Challenge.
If you know that people have already donated to your team, but do want a T-shirt and plan to attend your event in person, just have them join your team and create a fundraising page and I can credit their donation to their page and then they will be all set.
It's quick and simple, from your KCA team page they just click the green button to "join the challenge" and it walks them through the steps.

My “why” for supporting the Kidney Cancer Association is personal. I am almost a 3-year survivor of Stage 3 kidney cancer. After my surgery, I was searching for connection and information, and about three months later I stumbled across the Kidney Cancer Association page.
What I found was more than resources — I found a community. A community of survivors, supporters, and advocates who truly understand this journey. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to connect with other survivors and participate in the 81K Challenge for the past three years.
Supporting the Kidney Cancer Association is my way of giving back, raising awareness, and standing alongside others who are walking this path. No one should have to face kidney cancer alone.
