My Mission
There is no doubt in my mind that Cowboy Boone and Reno are the reason that I'm jumping into this challenge head first and running (quite literally) with it. When I first brought them home, everyone who knew them asked if I had gone insane, surely I must be suffering a moment of insanity. It turns out they were right. I had no clue what I was getting myself into, and I'm so glad that I didn't. If I had known then what Cowboy and Reno had in store for me, I'm not sure I would have walked out the door with the both of them. I've been fostering them for 9 months now, and it is quite possibly the best decision I've ever made. They amaze me every single day, and they're the reason I'm working so hard to raise as much as I can with this challenge.
Thank you to all my family and friends who have donated to this cause. Your support means the world to me, and it will help the thousands of animals that come through the shelter.

I was planning to post a picture of a very impressive pigeon who strutted around without fear, bathing in our admiration, unabashedly posing for every photo. But then, I saw this.
I swear, the picture doesn't even come close to doing it justice. It looked like a painting out of a magical story book. It didn't look real.

My boyfriend had a plan to walk only 7 or 8 miles today. He had the silly idea that we would take the train home. I was unaware of this plan, so I couldn't warn him that that was obviously out of the question. So... he ended up going a few extra miles today😅

Turns out big cities are useful places to get some walking miles in. Though I did also break one of my shoes last night... pros and cons😅
Also got a lot of these miles in the park! Surprisingly expansive and beautiful, with lots of hidden trails. And also lots of dogs! Seemed to be an unofficial dog park as much as anything else🐾

Really missing the boys today... saw a lot of dogs on our walk through the city. (didn't catch any on camera unfortunately)
