My Mission
There is no doubt in my mind that Cowboy Boone and Reno are the reason that I'm jumping into this challenge head first and running (quite literally) with it. When I first brought them home, everyone who knew them asked if I had gone insane, surely I must be suffering a moment of insanity. It turns out they were right. I had no clue what I was getting myself into, and I'm so glad that I didn't. If I had known then what Cowboy and Reno had in store for me, I'm not sure I would have walked out the door with the both of them. I've been fostering them for 9 months now, and it is quite possibly the best decision I've ever made. They amaze me every single day, and they're the reason I'm working so hard to raise as much as I can with this challenge.
Thank you to all my family and friends who have donated to this cause. Your support means the world to me, and it will help the thousands of animals that come through the shelter.
Special Shout Out to Lucky Dog Pet Grocery & Bakery who have pledged their support and have generously donated to my page. The boys absolutely love this store, and all the staff have been so kind, patient, and helpful. Not only do they have an enchanting display of treats, toys and supplies, they also have an amazing bakery, and the boys especially adore their donuts! I didn't record any miles for this one, because, frankly, I was too excited about where we were going.
And look where we went today!!! The dog's FAVORITE place ever!
I wanted to post this earlier, because they were giving free pupcakes to any dogs that came into the store today, and it was only today that they were doing it, but I ran into some complications and posted this real late😭 I'm so sorry for anyone who missed out on this, because their pupcakes are amazing! (you can see them tomorrow when I give them to the dogs, I'll post a picture😊) Lucky Dog was also giving away free gift bags for anyone who spent 40$ or more, so my sister got one, and it's REALLY cool! I'm kind of jealous 😂
Long story short, we had a lot of fun today at Lucky Dog, and the staff were wonderful (as always) and even took a bunch of pictures with us and gave a lot of treats to the boys, and it was amazing (and the dogs loved it💕). I mean, Lucky Dog is always amazing, but this one's for the books.
