My Mission
Hey!
As you may know Marcus was diagnosed with a rare metabolic disorder called Cobalamin-C at just 2 weeks old(Thank you newborn screening!) Since then we have had to adjust to a new life of extra doctor visits, routine bloodwork, eye exams and daily injections, can you imagine giving a 2 year a shot every day? It's rough!
We hope you will consider joining our team, or making a donation to help fund research for new treatment options, and an overall better quality of life for Marcus, and all patients and caregivers with HCU and Cobalamin disorders.
All proceeds from this race benefit HCU Network America Research Funds. HCU Network America is a national 501c3 that provides tools, resources, and educational events, to patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers for those in the Homocystinurias (HCU) community.
