On October 15th, I along with people all across the world will each walk, run, hike, kayak, swim, row, bike, anything for at least 3 miles to raise funds for children in crisis. This special fund supports children’s needs during a crisis, such as a natural disaster or conflict directly supporting Food for the Hungry.

It’s a simple, one-time commitment to do any activity for at least 3 miles on October 15th (*this can be done any day before, too if you have a prior commitment on Sat, the 15th). The goal is to raise $60,000 in just one day – October 15th. Those funds will go far – to serve the most at-risk children and vulnerable communities around the world. Food for the Hungry (FH) provides life-changing help and hope for those living with unimaginable hardship in more than 20 countries, providing the most important life-sustaining resources: clean water, food, hygiene training and resources, medical aid, education, vocational training, and spiritual development.

You can support me by pledging any amount for my event, I am committing to a 3-5 mile hike for my activity and will share updates on that day. Our goal is to raise $60,000 this year (with my team committing to $10,000 of that goal) – and you wouldn’t believe how far that goes to change lives in the communities where FH works every day or the year!
