I’m Supporting Rare Diseases
I was diagnosed with a rare disease in 2022 and my life changed. I now use a knee scooter to get around and I'm hoping there will be a viable treatment option for me to gain back mobility. I'm learning every day about my new normal and that's why I am taking on the 10,000 Mile Challenge to support the rare disease community. I will be contributing 50 miles during this 10-day challenge by rolling on my knee scooter through Astoria Park.
I am raising funds while I move to support rare disease research and build a supportive community for all people impacted by rare diseases.
