Our daughter found out she had triple negative breast cancer at 29 years old. To say we were shocked was an understatement. This is an aggressive form of breast cancer. She had done a self examination and luckily told her health care provider right away. I can not stress enough the importance of self examination! Even in your late 20’s and 30’s.
I am happy to report she is cancer free over 7 years now. (She did not have the BRCA gene.)
We are incredibly blessed.
