Participating in Swim Across the Sound’s Virtual Challenge 2024

My Mission
I'm proud to be the captain of Team Stand Strong for the SWIM Across the Sound Virtual Challenge again this year. Last year this team raised $11,127 and put in 569 miles of exercise. This year we hope to exceed that with a goal of $15,000 raised and 7069 miles of activity. My personal activity goal this year is 764 miles, representing the number of patients diagnosed with cancer at SMVC in a year.
The dollars I raise help support local cancer patients with different programs and services, including financial support for things like rent/mortgage and utilities payments. These funds are also accessible to first responders with cancer and their families anywhere in the state of CT.
