I'm excited to again join team 'Juneau Stepping Out for Water' for the 2024 Walk for Water. Path From Poverty's mission is very important to me, and I'm proud to be a part of their efforts to raise funds for rainwater catchment tanks in rural Kenya. Having access to this clean water makes it possible for children to go to school, and for women to work. Please support me by donating to the team page and/or registering to walk with us. At 10:00 am on Saturday, May 11, we will walk from Floyd Dryden Middle School to the Mendenhall Glacier and back. This is about 5 miles and is the distance that our Kenyan sisters walk nearly every day. Sharing this time together is a huge encouragement to our Kenyan sisters.
